Description: 

Saltmarsh Cottage is an elevated reverse house plan with nautically themed detailing, making it functionally and aesthetically ideal for coastal living.
 
Designed by an architect for his own family, this house plan includes a unique multi-level corner cupola, connected by a spiral staircase. On the first level of the cupola you find the breathtaking octagonal master bedroom. The second level features a screened-in porch offering an almost 360-degree view. The cupola is capped with a charming widow’s walk and lighthouse. The ground level provides space for a potential pool or spa.
 
With its wide-open spaces on the ground and second floor living areas, the Saltmarsh Cottage house plan is designed for entertaining. Upstairs, a large kitchen island opens out to the dining area, and then to living area with an inspiring barrel vaulted ceiling. Behind the scenes, you find a separate service kitchen and butler’s pantry.
